How long will it take for my order to ship?
Made to order pieces have a 10-14 day production time. Handmade pieces are worth the wait! If you need something sooner, please contact me first and I will do my best to accommodate.
One of a kind, limited edition, and pieces marked ready to ship will be shipped out within 1-3 days.
How does the jewelry ship?
All domestic orders ship via USPS Priority mail. Jewels come lovingly packaged in a box with tissue paper and tied with a hemp bow.
International packages ship First Class International mail. Since its against the law to misrepresent the contents or value of a package on customs forums, all information will be filled out correctly. Many countries charge import fees and/or taxes on packages sent from other countries. I know its a bummer, but its not something I have any control over. International packages shipped via First Class can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to arrive.
Do you offer any Free Shipping?
If your order is over $150 and you are located in the USA, use the code PRIORITYUSA for free Priority mail shipping ;)
What is your return policy and can I exchange?
Please contact me upon receiving your package if you have any questions, concerns, or issues. I will do my best to resolve any issues, be it a return or exchange. I ask that you ship the item back to me packaged with care and I will refund the cost of the item minus shipping upon receiving the returned package.
*The jewelry must be returned in original condition in order for the return to be accepted, so please do take care when packaging up the piece you are returning. Its best to place the piece in a jewelry box (like the one it arrived in) and inside a small shipping box or bubble mailer with some stuffing (crumpled magazine or newspaper works!) so it is protected in it's journey back to my studio. I highly recommend you choose a shipping method with tracking and hold on to the tracking number just incase.
What is non refundable?
All pieces marked final sale, items that have been marked down, custom pieces, pieces purchased during special promotional events, or seasonal sales cannot be returned.
Should you have a custom order in progress with me and decide to cancel it before completion and shipment, a 25% fee will not be returnable in order to cover the time and materials invested in the project.
I’d love to order a ring, but I don’t know my/my love’s size. What can I do?
If you aren't sure of what ring size you or someone you love wears I highly recommend you go to a local jeweler to be sized accurately. There are inexpensive ring sizers on the market, but the most accurate sizing will come from a jeweler and their experience! Printable paper sizers and string methods are pretty unreliable and I do not recommend them.
I do have plastic ring sizers available if you are unable to get to a jeweler or do not have one locally. The ones I have have been reliable over the years! They are $10 with shipping and come with a small discount code for your next order. Just contact me to get one!
How do I care for JC jewels?
Since all my jewelry is handcrafted from sterling silver and natural gemstones, there are some do's and don'ts when it comes to caring for them over the years. While I wouldn't call the construction of my pieces delicate (I don't skimp on materials and every piece is durably crafted in hopes that they are lovingly worn for year after year after year), they are still handcrafted little wearable art works and some gemstones are more delicate than others. You will have received a care card in your package that gives the general run down and is true for any piece, but that sheet only lets me write so much before I have to make the font ridiculously small. So I've got a page set up that hopefully answers any and all care questions :)

Do you take custom orders?
Sometimes! It depends on if I have room in my schedule/order load and if I feel that the project idea is a right fit for the style I work best at. Contact me with your ideas and I'd love to see what we could come up with together. Generally speaking, I do not do custom work during the fall and winter because it's my busiest time of year with the holidays which leaves less time to dedicate to such special projects.
*Please note though, I generally do not work with another's stones. So if you have a beloved gem you would like me to set, I will have to decline. There can be so many variables with a stone that I can't handle in person first to evaluate and with most stones, there is always the risk of a tool slipping or an internal flaw giving way... even for the most seasoned stone setter. Especially if it's a sentimental stone, I just don't feel comfortable accepting that type of custom work via the internets!
